Tadaflo 5mg tablet contains the active ingredient Tadalafil. It is a medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms. Erectile dysfunction is an inability to keep an erection firm enough for sexual activity. BPH is a condition characterized by men's prostate gland enlargement. This medication is not used in women and individuals under 18. This medication can enhance sexual performance and improve overall sexual satisfaction. By facilitating the ability to achieve and maintain an erection, it can increase confidence and reduce anxiety related to sexual activity.
Tadaflo 10mg tablet should not be taken if you currently use any form of nitrate-related medication ( used for angina or heart conditions). This medication is unsuitable for individuals with certain cardiovascular conditions, including recent heart attacks, unstable angina, severe heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or stroke within the past six months. Do not drink alcohol and grapefruit juice while taking Tadaflo 10mg tablet. Talk to your physician if you are intolerant to sugars, as this medicine contains lactose. You need to inform your physician about any serious heart disorders, low or high blood pressure, vision problems, sickle cell anemia, liver disorders, kidney disorders, or a recent heart attack if you have.

There are several medicines which should not be taken concurrently with Tadalafil. Medicines which can have potentially serious interactions with Tadalafil include :-
• Any alpha-blocker medicines e.g. doxazosin (Cardura), alfuzosin (Xatral), tamsulosin, terazosin, or Flomax, that you can buy in the pharmacy. (These medicines may be used to treat prostate problems or high blood pressure).
• Isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, or use a GTN spray or tablets
for chest pain or use Rectogesic ointment?
• Nicorandil (Ikorel), used to treat angina
• Cimetidine, used to treat stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcers
• Theophylline, used to treat asthma
• Antibiotics:- Clarithromycin, Erythromycin and Telithromycin
• Anti-fungals such as itraconazole and ketoconazole
• Seizure medication:- carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone
• Heart or blood pressure medication:- disopyramide, amiodarone, quinidine and procainamide
• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat
• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)
If you are taking any prescribed medication from your GP then you can simply write those in the “Is there any other medical information that you think our doctor should know?” section on the medical questionnaire. Then, our doctor will know whether the Tadalafil is safe for you to take.

This medicine should only be used if the doctor has judged that the benefit to the patient is greater than the risk of causing harm. The risks of taking this medicine to treat erectile dysfunction are discussed in the patient information leaflet that comes with the medicine. Do not use this medicine in women or children as it is not recommended for use.
Men with certain medical conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes, should talk to their doctor before taking tadalafil. It is not known if tadalafil is safe and effective for treating these conditions.
Men with a history of heart attack, stroke, or blood clot problems should talk to their doctor before taking tadalafil. The medicine may affect the way other medicines work, and it may be necessary for some patients to take tadalafil more than once a day.
Tadalafil is not for use by women or children.
The safety and efficacy of this medicine in children has not been established.
Most men take tadalafil about once a day, with some taking it for up to four hours before sexual activity. The most common side effects are headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and upset stomach. Less serious side effects are blurred vision, changes in color vision, and muscle pain.
The most common side effects are headache, indigestion, and nasal congestion. More serious side effects, such as allergic reactions or changes in blood pressure, may occur. If any of these symptoms occur, call your doctor immediately.
Call your doctor if the erection lasts longer than four hours, or if you have pain, numbness, or tingling in your penis. Call your doctor if this side effect lasts more than 2 hours.
Tadalafil has been reported to cause a very serious side effect in men older than 65 years. This side effect may be a sign of an allergic reaction.
The use of nitrates is not recommended in the treatment of angina.
The use of some other medicines can increase the blood pressure in the penis. This can cause some men to have trouble getting or keeping an erection.
Men taking tadalafil may experience side effects. Some of these side effects may include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and dizziness. Less serious side effects, such as muscle pain or stiffness, may occur.
Some of the side effects of tadalafil may be temporary. If these side effects continue or become bothersome, talk to your doctor.
